FAQs
-
Unlike static shelf images, interactive planograms can be zoomed, panned, and even shopped from. Participants click individual products to pick them up and add them to a virtual basket — just like real shopping.
-
Absolutely – we collaborate with many agencies and work alongside them to provide the 3D shelf component whilst they handle the source data, online survey, respondent panel and back end analysis. Just ask them to get in touch and mention your name! 😊
-
Yes - it’s easy to add a Buzz 3D interactive shelf to your survey by just using the referrer URL we supply to you. Your respondent’s unique ID would be embedded in the link at the appropriate place. This is something most surveys make straightforward to do, and the user experience will be both seamless and tagged with their ID for data retrieval.

Heavens forfend 😲! Absolutely not. Everything is browser-based with no installs, and works on any mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop device. In fact, you can check it out yourself here for free.

Shelf testing focuses on the position and arrangement of products on shelf (the planogram) and their relative performance versus competitors. It typically involves one or more layouts tested independently via online surveys with real shoppers.
Pack testing, on the other hand, is a 3D simulation of a single package, built from a lithographic flat that’s digitally assembled to replicate the real-world product. It’s especially popular with our pharmaceutical clients as a way to conduct one-on-one interviews to see how easily consumers can identify key artwork elements and specialised information, such as pull-out flaps or multi-language inserts.

Yes, there’s no limit to how many times you can circle the same respondent through the system - we capture each session and timestamp it accordingly for your analysis.
